Show Notes
The show began with a chant of “fuck shit up” by the crowd, which was repeated several times throughout the show. Self-Immolate was introduced as a song about setting yourself on fire. Before starting Magenta Mountain the crowd’s chant was changed to “ma-gen-ta.” Slow Jam 1 contained Iron Lung quotes. Supreme Ascendancy was introduced as a song about “how much Amby loves our lord and savior…Satan!” SPELLLING and The Chats were shouted out after Oddlife. Following Ontology Stu and the audience had a discussion of the apple that Stu was eating during the show. The Lord of Lightning contained a Cellophane tease. Before Dead-Beat, Stu announced that they would be playing an older song. This announcement prompted several requests from the audience, including God is in the Rhythm, “Taste of an Orange” (Almacknjack) and “Stairway to Heaven” (Led Zeppelin) which was then teased by Joey, who then claimed that he had no idea how to play that song and referred to it as Stairway to Kevin. Am I in Heaven? contained Her and I (Slow Jam 2) teases, God Is Calling Me Back Home teases, The Dripping Tap teases/quotes, Boogieman Sam teases/quotes, Rattlesnake teases, Hot Wax quotes and Head On/Pill teases/quotes.
