Show Notes
DC101 - Green Day delivered a legendary, fiery finale performance at the 2026 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO presented by Capital One. The star-studded show took place on Saturday night (January 17) at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

The mainstay rock giants took the stage with iconic, career-spanning anthems, including many staples they released in the 1990s and early 2000s. Green Day kicked off their scorching set with “American Idiot,” and kept the party going with “Holiday,” “Know Your Enemy” — with a little help from an audience member who joined the band on stage — “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “Longview,” “21 Guns,” “Basket Case,” “When I Come Around” and other unforgettable hits. Throughout the performance, the whole arena crowd scream-sang along, jumped, illuminated the venue with the lights from their phones, and more.

Green Day closed their performance — and the entire 2026 ALTer EGO event — with a burst of confetti filling the arena as they sang “Good Riddance.” Before singing the final chorus, lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong encouraged the audience to “take care of each other, make sure you love one another (and) protect each other.”: “It's something unpredictable/ But in the end, it's right/ I hope you had the time of your life.”
