Kris: "Prior to Green Day's set a bunny came onstage chugging beer. Green Day came out with Maria and all hell broke loose. They were so awesome. About three songs into it, Billie Joe told the crowd, 'We need about fifty more fuckin' people right up front here!' So everyone started running and pushing to get up there. It was cool. Then Billie Joe saw this 7-year-old kid in the audience and he was like, 'Bring me that child. Bring me that damn child right now!' And the kid got up there and helped them with Shout. He and his dad got to sit onstage for the rest of the night and watch the show from there. Then the guys brought up three people for Knowledge and let the guitar player keep the guitar and told the bass player not to be a fancy fuck. Billie wore a crown and cape for King For A Day. All in all, Green Day was the best performance I've ever seen."
