Jessica: "I went to the Green Day concert on july 29th in Boise Idaho at the Bank of America center. when I walked in I found out they were strip searching people to see if they had a camera or a recorder or cigs. so they took my camera, and said they would give it back after the show. anyhow, had pretty good seats, maybe 20 feet from the stage(wasn't in the mosh pit), so we waited a little while and The Living End came on and played about 6 or 7 songs(they are pretty good, I have their cd so i knew some of the songs.), and for one of the songs Billie was standing there slightly behind the stage watching the band and looking at the crowd, and he smiled. after The Living End played, it was about 15-20 minutes till Green Day came on cuz they had to set up Tre's drums and everything. at about 8:30, maybe 8:45 Green Day came out and played "nice guys finish last". after about another 2 songs Billie brought out a handheld spot light and was shining it all over the center saying "get the f*ck up. yea you.. don't think your hiding from me" and so on. As always in the middle of "knowledge" they brought up 3 guys to play the rest of it. The guy who was playing the guitar lost his shoe while coming up so someone threw it up to him. the guy playing the drums had blue hair and the bass players name was Eric. In the middle of one of the other songs( I can't remember which one) Billie starts moaning, and after about a minute, he went on with the rest of the song. For some of the songs he brought out a water gun and was spraying the crowd, and dumping water bottles all over them. the trombone player had on a bumble bee suit and the sax player was dressed pretty normal. for requests they only played "2000 light years away". they left the stage and everyone was stomping their feet and chanting Green Day, and Billie comes back and plays "good riddance" and then Mike and Tre come back. during "king for a day" Billie put on a crown and was dancing on top of one of the speakers while James played the guitar. by the end of the concert, in the middle of "warning" Billie starts putting the mic cord around his neck and held the end of the mic up with one hand and starts grabbing himself with the other. about 3 or 4 songs from the end, red confetti came shooting from the top of the stage and goes all over the center.can't remember which song it was but.. in the middle of the song before the last song Tre trashed his drums and Mike threw in his bass and Tre smashed that too. at the end they played "macy's day parade" and at the end threw out a box of picks.

everyone was leaving, but i had to get a security guard or someone cuz the shirt I bought fell between this space that was about 5 feet deep only a foot wide. so after that i went and got my camera back and we decided to wait out by the buses. only about 15, maybe 20 people were waiting there, so after about a half an hour or so this oddly familiar looking guy in a red had and navy blue T-shirt came out.. it was Tre!! so some of the people said "Tre! go get Billie Joe for us!" but he was just shutting the door to the bus. after about 10 minutes he came back out and this one girl that was waiting had a tarantula and he wanted to go show the guys, so he said he would be right back. he comes back and gives the girl her tarantula back and starts signing tickets and things and he signed my ticket with the pen I gave him and gave be my ticket and pen back. someone asked him for his hat and he said "no.. cuz it's my hat. I need it to block the sun and to look cool". later he said he would trade this guy for his hat, and being somewhat smart, the guy said yes. After maybe 20 minutes Billie came out and signed my ticket too with a black sharpie. Tre was still waiting outside the bus and before either of them came out I asked the security guard if i could get a pick, and he said he would give me one of the picks Billie was playing with for $20 but before i could get my money out this other girl bought it, but Tre asked if i still wanted something, and i said sure, so he gave me this wrist band thing that matched my shirt, and later on one of the roadies gave me one of the other picks Billie was playing with. Mike didn't come out cuz they said he was already on the bus, so after Tre and Billie got on the bus and it drove off at about 12:00 everybody started to leave. They played great, still partly can't hear cuz the speakers weren't too far from us, but I can't complain cuz i met Billie Joe and Tre.. nothing could be better."


Rachel: "oh my gosh...when i found out green day was coming to boise, i freaked out...me and my friend steph are in love with them seriously....so of course we waited in line to buy tickets and all that good stuff- as the concert approached i was counting down the days...i could hardly wait, when we were finally there we made our way up to the very front of the pit....people were so nice, we were just like, could we get in front of you please!? and all you had to do was wink and smile sexily, and it worked!!! we were on the right hand side of the stage in the very front....living end was pretty cool, but then we had to wait forever while they set up for gd....when billie and company finally came out, i totally freaked out, i love green day sooo much!!!! i thought i was going to cry...billie was sooo incredibly sexy!!! i was screaming sooo loud! they started with nice guys finish last, a classic of course, and continued to be amazing....it was funny cause since me and my friends were in the very front, and mike was right in front of us, and throughout the entire night, he kept laughing at us cause we were freaking out so bad, and we were singing all the words to all the songs....the concert was a while ago and i still can't get over it....i saw billie!!!!! i am seriously in love with him...all of their songs rocked, and billie was hilarious, he pretended to have an orgasm on stage, and made fun of the pussy's sitting in the seats...he also kept saying...this is how boise does it god damnit...in his sexy sexy voice, and at the very end of the show....mike threw out his pick and it fell right in front of the gate so i kept trying to get it, and the guard saw me so he picked it up and gave it to me, i was sooo happy!!! i had mike's pick1!!! i will never ever get over seeing them .....they were amazing!!!! and i will always love billie!!!!1 i can't wait til they come back again!!!"
