I don't remember if they played the whole song but was the highlight of the night.

Before going to the show, I drew a face on my belly and taped multiple pieces of computer printer paper together with a message on it, and hid it under my shirt. Got to the show, enjoyed the hell out of it. Half way or so through, they used to asked the crowd for requests (maybe they still do?). I reached under my shirt and, with the help of my friends, unfurled a 6-8 paper long sign that said “Play No One Knows”. Billy Joe got quiet, and you could see him kinda squinting, and read it aloud. I got so excited that I jumped up on a concrete pillar next to my seat and pulled my shirt up, showing everyone the goofy shit on my belly. Billie Joe said something like “shit we haven’t played this in forever, but we will try”. Mike played the baseline flawlessly. Billie Joe made it through the first verse and chorus before he forgot the words in the second verse, and the show went on.

Rio S: "I went to the show @ the Santa Barbara Bowl on July 20th. I was so excited! This was my first Green Day concert (it's about time! they've only been my fav. band since 2nd grade and now a high school sophomore...well I think I've waited long enough!). When we got there we didn't have to wait in line, but the stupid security guards confiscated my "Cassie the bird" stiffed animal I had just gotten @ Mc Donald's on the way to the concert! What the hell!? They said that it could cause and injury if it was thrown. B.S.! It's a freakin mini stuffed animal! oh well. Before the show started, while I was buying my new G.D. sweatshirt and socks and I could hear 2 little voices on the microphone, I believe it was Billie Joe's kids (Joshua & Jakob), singing Old Mc Donald, Twinkle Twinkle and The itsy bitsy spider . It was soooooo CUTE. when they finished, everyone that was already in their seats cheered really loud for the kids. It was really sweet. After I had bought all my memorabilia it was time for us to talk our seats. From where we were sitting, me, mom, dad, and best friend Amber could see part of back stage... before the show started we could see Tre' riding around on a little bike and running into stage hands. It was pretty funny. I also saw one other very important person there @ the concert... BOB SAGGIT! no joke! Mr. Tanner from full house and the host of America's funniest home videos was at the concert with what looked like his daughter, and they were sitting just a few rows ahead of us. Me and my friend screamed his name and he looked around, then I screamed, "BOB, WE LOVE YOU, YOU ROCK!" Then he pointed to me and said, "I love you too!", it was so cool. Then the opening band "The living end" started a little after 6:45. We also saw Billie's beautiful wife Adrienne there (the lucky girl). She was standing off stage watching them. They were really good, unfortunately I had never heard them before so I did not know any of their songs. I saw Adrienne pulling up her little chair off stage so I knew the REAL show was about to begin. Then they sounded the Warning alarms, everyone was screaming so loud it nearly blew my eardrums out! but I didn't care, I was probably the loudest anyways! he he. Right when the show opened Billie Joe was disappointed with the lack of people in the grassy area right in front of the stage so he told everyone to move down there. so with no regard to what my parents said, me and my friend hoped out of our seats and ran to the stairs as fast as we could, until we were stopped my those DAMN SECURITY GUARDS!!!! Grrrrrrrr! There were so many kids storming the grass but they still wouldn't let us go! since no-one up front was moving and people were still charging forward in the back, everyone was getting squished and falling down. I nearly got trampled on but some really cute guy picked me up before the killer converse could stomp me to death! (thanx mystery man!). This was Green Day's first concert since there small break. That means they were well rested and ready to give us there all. AND THEY DID! Green Day Rocked the house like they usually do. Billie Joe worked the crowd like he's been doing it forever!? wait... actually he has! ha ha. ALL the boys put on a GREAT show! Green Day performed all their best (or should I say most popular) songs, and then some requests. Here are some songs they played. I might have missed a few, but I'm sure I got most of them... oh, and they're probably a bit out of order too.

In the middle of the show Billie picked 3 people out of the crowd to come up and do a song like they usually do. My dad had me on his shoulders and about 20 people were screaming and pointing to me to go up and play bass (besides, Mike is the whole reason I decided to play bass in the first place!), but I guess Billie didn't see me since we were up in the stands(oh well, maybe next time). All the boys did such a good job! The bassist they picked was really hot. The guitarist was so excited that he ran to give Billie and gave him a big hug, and then Billie gave him a big kiss! It was sooooo funny. Everybody laughed. The concert was so much fun and I was singing along to ALL of the songs. well I do have all 6 CD's and then some! After the concert I couldn't even speak and my lungs hurt so badly! but it was all worth it. I was kinda bummed out that they didn't play "Blood, sex and booze" I was hoping they would but they didn't, but that's ok. I was still so excited I didn't even get any sleep, I didn't want the night to end. But I put on all my Green Day CD's and slowly dozed off listening to Billie. Seeing Green Day live was the best night of my life and I don't think it could ever be topped! Well, unless I get back stage passes next time! ha ha. I just wish I could thank Billie, Mike, and Tre' for giving me the best night of my life!"
