Yasmeen: "Hey yo. I recently saw Green Day in Tulsa where I live. Let me start off by saying that I’ve never seen Green Day before and I have waited for so long too see them so I was really really stoked to see them. So I got to the venue at 3, I thought that was pretty early but no. There were people there from 8 am. That was cool we quickly became friends and waited together in the freezing cold 35 degree weather. So me being there really early paid off cuz I was center front row the whole time. Yayy. Get up kids came on and they really really cool and fun. Jason White came out and played a replacement cover called “Beer for Breakfast” that was really really cool. Then finallly Green Day finally came on! I was sooo shocked they were right in front of me. Their first song was Nice guys finish last followed by Castaway. I was in so much shock I dont remember much except that I screamed a whole lot. Billie Joe’s mom is originally from Oklahoma so she flew in from California to see her son. She was in the balcony and Billie pointed her out and everyone chanted her name. Then Billie specifically dedicated the next song, Blood, Sex and Booze , to his mom. hahah . That kicked ass alot , it was one of my favorites. Other songs that were really good were geek stink breath , welcome to paradise and jaded. They played 2000 light years away which made me really really happy. They also played Platypus (I hate you). which was freakin awesome. Everything about that song was awesome. Billie looked extremely awesome singing it. Then Billie started taking requests again, and me and my friends decided before we wanted Tre too come out and sing. So Billie took our request and Tre sang All by myself and Dominated Love Slave. Tre looked really really cute. Billie said that was the first time they had done that in the whole tour!. score!. So anyways,, then Billie took his water guns and sprayed at us , that felt really really good. Then Billie said that he once tried to sneak into a Operation Ivy concert and then he went right into Knowledge. The crowd went nuts it was really really awesome. Then as expected Billie chose people to come up and play. The guy he chose for a bassist was a guy I stood in line with so that was cool lucky him. Then Jason White comes out with a wig and a hat, and two Trumpet players came out , and Billie came out with a crown on. So of course they played King for a Day. It was sooo awesome, That was one of the best parts in the show. Another awesome awesome song played was warning, that whole song was really really good, I screamed so much during then, they had the red lights flashing and everything. Then greenday left and came back for the encore, they played waiting, minority. Minority was soooo good. Then mike and tre left and billie sang good riddance by him self . Then soon after they all went into When I come around. This is so pathetic but I started crying. I started screaming and crying and singing all at the same time. ya. And then they played Macys day parade for the last song which was nice. Ahhh and then tre ruined his drum set and ahh they left. All I can say is that it was the best concert ive ever ever went too!!!! I am sooo happy I got the chance to go!! id do anything to relive that moment again."
