Dustin Rowdie: "D Generation was the opening band tonight at the first Green Day Palace show of three. D Generation looked like a mix between the Ramones and Sex Pistols with a little harder sound than Green Day. After the 20-30 minute set of D Generation Green Day's road crew started setting up. The first song they played was Going to Pasalacqua, when Billie hit the first note of the song everyone went crazy. After Welcome to Paradise Billie made the comment that he remembers the Dookie tour in Los Angeles. During Paper Lanterns Billie told everyone to throw their shirts on stage after he put them all on he started running around the stage when he got hit in the balls with a shoe. He found out who it was and the guy said, 'Oh, well.' Then Billie said, 'Oh, well! OK! After the show I fuck you in the ass, oh well, I'm fucking you up the ass!' They left came back for the encore. Tre and Mike started smashing up the drum set while Billie started pulling the strings off his guitar making a chainsaw noise."
