huskerdu1972: "Another tape I acquired from a guy named Jason Duncan who used to trade in Maximum Rock'n'roll way back then. He had tons of Gilman shows, presumably directly from the taper. I wish I'd got more stuff from him. This show in particular sounds great and features an early performance of Longview."

Brent Waroniecki: "...That was the most we ever got paid for a show. $50 which actually covered gas and a triumphant meal at... Denny's?"

Blake Hansen: "After this show I saw Jason Schwartz, who I so looked up to then (and now), in traffic at Herndon & Sierra and, trying to score some points with him I yelled something like, 'I just heard two amazing bands, Rancid and Green Day!' He shouts back, 'Rancid's good. Green Day's a bunch of sellouts!' and drives away."

Jason Schwartz: "Wow, I was an opinionated asshole. Sorry. It's a trip to see all these old flyers and pics. ... Things I forgot about. ...It's funny how perspectives change. 19 year old me would probably say I'm a sellout for all the audio work I've been doing for politicians lately."
