Show Notes
Michael Meyer: "I think it was after this show that a bunch of us went with Green Day and broke into a church to go swimming in the baptism pool."
Matthew Rezac: "Funny story about this tape: I lent it to Terry, who had it for a really long time. Like a year or more. I kept bugging him to get it back. He kept deflecting. Finally he confessed that he had lent it to Tre Cool for the Switch portion (I think he was trying to get Switch on some label or something). After like two years of pestering Terry who then had to pester Tre, I finally got it back. True story. More or less."
Pat McIntyre: "26 years ago, and I remember like yesterday. I think it was the second time they were here and it was late afternoon on a Wednesday. I bust out of work and rushed down to Nordic Hall. They opened with my fave song of theirs (we even covered it), then they wouldn't leave town. Seriously one of my fave stories for Terry Taylor. He came into the shop two days after the show. I told him how much I loved it and he replied, 'They just won't leave! C'mon, Terry! Get up, Terry! Let's go to the mall, Terry! You want them...?' Lol. Between stories of Green Day terrorizing Washington High, to bartering for cheaper strings at the shop, this was great history. However, every so often my fat head shows up with a bad goatee and a metal mohawk. Cringe..."
